JOB DESCRIPTION

Support the sales office team by heavy utilization of Excel spreadsheets and accounting software, while also talking with customers on the phone.

THE IDEAL TEAM PLAYER WILL

- Provide assistance to inside sales representatives.

- work directly with customers to obtain missing information or answer inquiries.

- Maintain and update sales/customer records.

- Review and compare data accuracy across multiple records.

- Communicate with multiple departments internally.

- Create and use reports to assist in ensuring sales targets are met.

- Stay up-to-date with new products and features.

- Have a background in office support within in the Building Supply/Manufacturing industry.

- A desire to work at your desk, focused, head down crunching numbers, and performing data entry while at the same time being on the phone talking with external customers and dealing with internal customers too.

- Fast and accurate with a 10-key calculator.

- Experience with ERP systems managing inventories, order entry, and accounts receivable.

- Handle petty cash as needed.
