Customer Service Rep I - Dallas-Fort Worth, TX

The Direct Customer Service Representative will be responsible for handling inbound sales and renewal phone calls for consumer product and automotive Service Contract sales, answer Caller ID questions, assist existing customers, research/respond/resolve customer issues, assist customers with on-line registrations.
Essential Job Functions
- Assist customers by providing the highest level of service;
- Receive inbound phone calls from customers;
- Process sales over the phone;
- Research, respond to, and resolve customer issues in a timely fashion;
- Utilize troubleshooting and problem solving skills to successfully supply accurate information to callers;
- Locate and retrieve information in a computer based environment;
- Explain product features and benefits;
- Exposed to confidential information and expected to maintain confidentiality at all times; must adhere to compliance and regulations;
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed;
- Be able to achieve set daily goals with high call volume;
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma or general education degree (GED);
- One (1) year previous sales experience;
- Self-motivated; organized, detail oriented, strong desire to learn and grow;
- Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and telephonic sales skills;
- Professional telephone etiquette;
- Basic level of proficiency in Windows based programs;
- Maintain a professional appearance and provide a positive company image.
