About the Position:
The Office of Admissions is responsible for determining student eligibility for admission to the University, processes and evaluates applications and transcripts, determining residency status, and reviewing appeals for exception to University Policy. We are seeking an exceptional individual to join our team as an Evaluator I. The ideal candidate in this role should have a positive attitude and an active, energetic mind that is characterized by highly ethical practices and a commitment to diversity, openness, flexibility, integrity, and kindness.
The Evaluator I evaluates academic records for the purpose of determining first-time freshman, transfer, and post baccalaureate admissibility to the University. Adds units to CMS (PeopleSoft) and verifies units in the Degree Audit System (uAchieve) if transfer student is admissible. Evaluates supplemental undergraduate records to determine progress towards final verification of meeting the requirements of baccalaureate degree. Explains University policies and procedures throughout the evaluation process by telephone, e-mail or in-person. Employee must maintain working knowledge of and compliance with relevant NCAA and conference rules and report any concerns or violations noted. Other duties as assigned.
