SENIOR INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY ANALYST

The Human Service Agency (HSA) is seeking qualified candidates for a Senior Information Technology (IT) Analyst for their Business Systems Group (BSG). The Senior IT Analyst will report to the IT Supervisor and will lead various sized projects pertaining to application development, enterprise software support, and business analytics. The Senior IT Analyst role includes, but is not limited to, leading other IT Analysts and Technicians to provide operational application support, software upgrades, new system implementations, and general departmental automation effort. The Senior IT Analyst will also be responsible for overall planning, coordination, and execution of projects and support functions.
The ideal candidate will:
â¢ Have at least five years of increasingly responsible experience in information technology support, including two years in a project lead and/or supervisor capacity.
â¢ Possess significant experience in one of the following:
o Project management experience with solid knowledge of the tools and elements of project management.
o Application support service management with solid knowledge in Change and Release processes.
o IT Service Desk operational support and leadership
â¢ Possess a working knowledge of at least one of the following:
o Enterprise application support such as technical support in CalWIN, CalHEERS, MEDS, CWS/CMS, QMatic, EBT Edge, Compass, OnBase, etc.
o SharePoint administration; creating and configuring new sites; adding document libraries; creating and configuring lists and forms
o Administration and configuration of BMC Footprints Service Desk
o General troubleshooting of Office365 applications
â¢ Possess excellent leadership skills and experience in leading information technology staff.
â¢ Possess strong analytical skills, a firm sense of accountability and ownership for end-to end project lifecycles.
â¢ Possess understanding of technical design principles and experience in developing and implementing standards and best practices.
â¢ Possess outstanding written and verbal communication skills and the ability to interact with diverse technical and non-technical groups spanning all organizational levels.
A typical way to qualify is graduation from a four-year college or equivalent technical certification with coursework in computer science, information systems or closely related field AND two years of full-time experience successfully performing technical and analytical duties to support automated system operations and related software applications.
